Nov 9, 2018 My Ebay Notebook; page 1, Sold
The sun is up!!! Do you "eBay"????
Ah! Yes! "I bought it on eBay!"
Now retired for 2 1/2 years, my mind is thinking, there must be more to this thing called retirement.
I also wanted/needed to eliminate clutter from my home. I'd never even bought anything on eBay!
So, I did! I bought my first item, and it was like, "Wow! It's easy to buy on eBay!"
So, how is it for selling? I put up my first item. And then a second, third ... and on and on. I watched YouTube videos, and joined Facebook eBay groups. I read, learned, and kept on listing. I sold my first item in 20 days! Wow! What a rush!
Sixteen sales later, I'm still learning more every day.
I admit, I am NO PRO, but I am very happy with my journey to date.
Right now, I have a White House Black Market Dress up, and it's on sale today through Sunday. On Monday, I'm raising my price again.
Here it is. It's eBay ID# 302936073445. Price: $13.99. Plus shipping. Size 6, Silk and Polyester; previously owned, great condition. Bust 36"; length 32".

I hope you'll take a look!
Tip for today:
Researching prices is very challenging. There are a lot of places to go to do your research. I use them all from time to time, and I'm constantly adding to my list.
Some to try are:
eBay; google; poshmark, pinterest, amazon, etsy, lyst, zappos, retailers, mercari, tradesy, and bonanza. For patterns on pyrex: try https://pyrex.cmog.org/pattern-library.
You can also do an reverse lookup on image search. Go to https://images.google.com (for the pc; not mobile -- for mobile go to www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2492468,00.asp). Drop your image in the search bar; look at visually similar images, item, label or symbol, a plush toy (you need a name for it?), hallmarks or logos, symbols on ceramics (and it can sometimes be wrong); also use www.kovels.com.
For china: www.replacement.com or www.replacementsLTD.com.

For now, I'm learning the "in's" and "out's". It's still a hobby right now. I won't make a lot of money this year, but next year, I'll have to get into business mode.
